These terms cover your use of the Before It's Gone website and services. By using the site, you agree to them. We've kept them short and plain.
We provide a website with closing alerts, memory pages, farewell campaign information, and an optional Premium membership. Farewell Campaigns and Return Nights are arranged under separate written agreements with the venues involved.
Closing alerts are labelled as either rumour or confirmed, and we work to keep them accurate. They are shared for your information and are not a guarantee that a place will or won't close on a given date. If you operate a business and believe an alert is wrong, contact us and we'll correct or remove it promptly.
When you share a story or photo, you confirm it's yours to share and you grant us permission to display it on the relevant memory page. Be kind and truthful — we may remove content that is abusive, false, or infringes someone else's rights.
Premium is billed monthly through Stripe and renews until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Please don't misuse the site — no scraping at scale, no attempts to break security, and no using alerts to harass a business. We may suspend access for misuse.
The site is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the site.
